Children’s Art Parties and workshops

 

$225 / 10 participants, an additional $20 each up to 30

Add $75 for the addition of the pottery wheel to any clay party (2 projects) / $300, an additional $25 each up to 25.

Special arrangements for additional guests can be made with more time or back to back events.

Gather at your work, home or event space for an art birthday, farewell or end of year party, whatever the occasion we have the perfect party for your little artist. You can also book your party at our studio!

 are blocked for two hour periods unless arranged otherwise. Multi-media

art projects last up to approximately 1.5 hours depending on parent preference.  Pick a  party theme or work with us so that we can tailor your class to your artist’s interests. You’ll have a private teacher and all participants will create a personal art piece. Unless specified, all artwork will be delivered at a later date.

Free delivery for anything an hour out of Indy.  Free delivery if i am driving thru the area to a program.  I will need to add an additional cost for delivery if I am not back in the area and have to make a special trip out.  We can talk through an arrangement for delivery.  I may also be able to mail the projects, if needed.  We could also meet half-way for pick-up.  I always have the option of pick-up in my home studio at your convenience too!

 

 

Multi Media Art  Themes

​

(1.5 hour workshop, $185 for 10 children) 

 

Literacy and Art Program! - Read a book and then make art, art and more art!  Every child will create up to three different art projects during the party!  Pick from 4 themed books.  We will be finished with a total of about 60 minutes including any refreshments you might bring. Book options include: Oola the Owl who Lost her Hoot, Curious George and the Bird Nest, Pete the Cat and His Magic Sunglasses, Monsters Don’t Eat Broccoli and I Like Myself. (3-6yrs)

Fused Glass Designs – Create your very own fused glass Tile, magnet and display piece for a total of three unique creations with glass.  * allow 1-2 weeks for artwork to be kiln fired ( ages 5 and up)

 

Kites and Flight – Create your very own kite!  Build it and design it.  Then create a make-and-take clay bird and nest!  Take both items home to enjoy!  (ages 9 and up)

 

Rhythm and records – Create some noise!  We will have a group jam session, create our own mini tambourine and recycled record art! (ages 4-up) 

 

Glass Mosaic Coasters or Frames – Design your own geometric coasters or small picture frames from colorful glass tiles. Guests will use a grid to glue selected tiles, apply and wipe grout and take home two handmade coasters or one picture 5″ x 7″ picture frame. (7 and up)

 

Foil and flowers – Create your very own fused glass flower tile and design your own foil art project! (ages 6-up)

 

Electric Circuits – Insects: Create an insect from materials including pool noodles, pipe cleaners, wire, foam shapes and beads. Incorporate an small vibrating motor and children will be amazed to watch their insects move across the table! Maze Crawlers - Create your very own maze for your nano hexbug.  Use pizza boxes, stickers, markers and so much more.  This activiy can provide hours of fun!

Pottery themes

Dinosaurs of Long Ago. Pottery Making – Create a dinosaur and volcano out of clay and bring your imagination out! Turtles, Turtles, Turtles! Pottery Making – Create a turtle by hand and a mug on the pottery wheel! Then add turtles to your mug! You can even create an environment for your turtle. (4 and up) *Pottery will be ready for pick up in 3-4 weeks.

Pottery fusion fish - Create your very own fish by hand and use both glaze and glass to finish.  (4 and up)*Pottery  will be ready for pick up in 3-4 weeks.

Unicorns and magical bowls - Create your very own clay unicorn and magical bowl on the pottery wheel!   (4 and up)*Pottery  will be ready for pick up in 3-4 weeks.  

 

Smash it! Throw it! Pottery Making – Create a plate or picture frame by hand and a bowl on the pottery wheel!  Every child will create 2 projects to be taken home after the firing. (4 and up)*Pottery  will be ready for pick up in 3-4 weeks.  ​

Snowman, log cabin and mug! -  Create your very own log cabin, woods, snowman and mug on the wheel!  All a reminder of the cozy parts of winter fun!  (4 and up)*Pottery  will be ready for pick up in 3-4 weeks.  ​

 

Adult Art Parties and Workshops

Two hour block $250 / 10 participants, additional participants are $30 each up to 20 guests

Adults let us help you plan a creative event for friends, business or your birthday! We’ll work with you to plan a unique two – three hour experience at your site.  We will demonstrate and assist in art making activities and everyone will leave with a piece of art work they have made during their visit, unless specified for kiln fire. This is a great event for a mid-day luncheon or dinner party.  Please reserve your party at least a few weeks ahead and give some choice to times and dates if possible.

Mosaic Flower Pots – Nature lovers, create something as beautiful as the plants that grow.  Party members will design and create a tiled mosaic.  Element of art that will be introduced are contrasting colors, pattern and unity.

Hand-building in Clay – Learn some basic hand- building techniques like slab, coil building and attaching clay.  Hanging birds, decorative boxes and shakers are some options for building but the possibilities are limitless. Decorate that day with under glazes.  Allow 2 weeks for firing. Items may be picked up after a

 

Bells and Bowls– Create your very own bell (or wind chime) out of a clay pot using designer wire, beads, paint and more!  Then glaze your own pre-made clay bowl with your own designs!

 

Vases,Vases, Vases! – Create a vase by hand and a vase on the pottery wheel!  Add your unique touch! This three hour party includes individualized attention on the pottery wheel, hand building and glazing. * allow 3-4 weeks for artwork to be kiln fired
